Thunderbolt Georgia to Wahoo River, Georgia

Monday November 7, 2011  Day- 57
Departed Herb River at 7:30AM and arrived at the Wahoo River at 1:30PM.
Today's miles- 45   Total trip miles- 1,218.
It was clear and sunny but still windy today. Being that the trip in inside on the intracoastal waterway, we can travel comfortably with the wind. The Wahoo River is very secluded and we were alone until later in the afternoon when two sail boats came in to anchor.

These cranes were in one tree. Many of them seemed to be sleeping.

We are fortunate to have the latest electronics on board such as this chart plotter. As you can see, we need to stay in the channel since the water is only 1 and 2 feet on either side of the boat.

At our anchorage on the Wahoo River which will be our last time at anchor until we continue in January.
