The Adventure Begins!!!!!!

We bid farewell to our home port of Mystic at 7:00AM today under overcast skies and calm seas. We wanted to start earlier but the fog was hanging around. We had good visibility until New London when the fog began to thicken. It became 1/4 mile visibility until we reached Westbrook, CT when it began to lift. We ended up at Bruce and Johnsons marina in Branford at 1:00 PM. We traveled 36 miles today and will leave tommorow morning for a short 14 miles to Stratford harbor where we will be spending 3-nights to celebrate our grandson's baptism on Thursday. Plans are to leave Stratford Friday morning for Port Washington NY and the trip through New York City and Hell's gate on Saturday.

  1. Very excited for you guys! I'm glad you were able to make progress despite the fog, and that you'll be able to be there for the baptism.
