We left Stratford and went out of the Housatonic River past the Stratford Point Light House. It was 56 degrees when we left and the seas were a 1 to 2 foot chop.
We decided to navigate from the lower helm since it was warmer in the cabin and we made breakfast underway and watched the morning news and weather on our satellite TV.
We had added a 2nd GPS/chart-plotter to the lower helm. The triangle at the bottom of the screen is where the boat is on the chart.
We passed Execution Rock before turning into Manhasset Bay NY.

We will be going under the Throgs Neck Bridge tomorrow morning on our way down the East River. Our plans are to anchor behind the Statue of Liberty if all goes well. Stayed tuned!
